    Hi All,

Where do you buy your minute paper and books?
    How much do you pay?
What are the specs of the paper?

Any info you could share is greatly appreciated!!!

    Have a nice weekend!

You can get minute books of various sizes from GBS. They are our elections paperwork supplies.
However, after talking to our auditors and MTA a formal minutes books is not necessary. We use a heavy duty binder, print the minutes on plain paper with the pages numbered and dated (Header "May 9 meeting" (footer page 1 of 3) Both said that would be sufficient as long as everyone knows that the minutes are permanent. WE have a sign on the binder that says "Board minutes - permanent file - do not destroy"

This is so much easier than the minute books with the 14 inch paper that the previous clerks used.

I print our minutes off on archival quality paper, and they are kept in a 3-ring binder. There binders are labeled for each board/commission and the year. The current year's binder is kept in the safe, and the previous binders are kept in our records room.
