For the smaller towns and villages, do you charge POP-UP vendors a daily or weekly fee? Example: Basket maker who has his booth set up or a fire works vendor.
Would you be willing to share your ordinance or policy?
    Thank you!

Our fee schedule reads "Seasonal Outdoor Sales Permit" and the fee is $200 per month for a max of 3 Months. We don't want these pop up places taking business away from our tax paying businesses if we can help it.

We have a Peddler Ordinance which prohibits any selling on any city streets, parks, sidewalks and on the application they must state the exact dates they wish to sell their product as the fee is $100 per day plus $25 for each additional day that they sell that isn't listed on the application. The fee of $100 per day discourages individuals from coming into the city to sell and it then doesn't take away from our taxpaying businesses that have limited time to make a profit.

We have an ordinance that is quite antiquated and have peddler's that you call pop-up vendors set up on private property and sell their goods. We charge $6.70 a day, $13.50 a week or $33.50 month. We need to update our ordinance as there are no requirements that they must have a health department permit to serve food. Some get them and some don't. I will be researching other communities ordinances.
