    I am looking for anyone willing to share with me their more recently updated purchasing policy, specifically in regards to the requirement to publish for bids over a certain dollar amount. What dollar limit does your community require for Council approval, and what dollar amount does your community require for newspaper publication. Does anyone have a policy that does not require publication in a newspaper, but allows for solicitation of bids by phone, in writing, on the City website and/or being posted at City Hall?
