We are having a slight dispute with one of our residents regarding water meters. I have a few questions to pose, and would appreciate your responses please.

    1. When a new home or business is being built, do you charge for the meter? Do you charge to install the meter?

    2. Once the meter is installed, do you take ownership of the meter?

    3. If a resident requests a smaller size meter due to a heavy ready to serve charge on a 1 ½” line, would you replace the meter with a smaller (3/4”) meter in order to save him money or would you charge him for a new meter plus installation?

Thanks in advance for your responses.
