    Morning All,
I hope you are enjoying the sunshine this morning.

I was wondering - when a FOIA is received we have five days to respond, if our initial response is that we need a ten day extension - we get an additional 10 days correct? Or do we only get an additional 5 days?

    Thanks, C

The reason for the 10 day extension is for extensive research needed.

It's been some time since this thread began, and by now local governments should have their new FOIA Policy in place.
I'm wondering has anyone ever had to deal with an entity which refuses to acknowledge both FOIA and email requests for basic public documents which should not require a FOIA? Such as Minutes, Ordinances?
