Clerking 101

Are you a new clerk?

Clerking 101 is a program that is offered, usually with the June conference,

where new clerks, deputy clerks, or other clerk's office staff can learn basics,

including minutes, agendas, Freedom of Information Act, Open Meetings Act, General finance, parliamentary procedure, ethics, code of conduct, resolutions, governing laws, oaths of office, records retention, web resources, and other important tasks that clerks face on a daily basis.  This session is presented by seasoned clerks who have a great deal of knowledge and experience.
