MAMC Committees

The following committees are open for MAMC members to serve.  Contact the committee chair if you are interested in serving on any of these committees.

CEO - Todd Blake, Chair

The Council of Election Officials Committee is comprised of MAMC and MAC (Michigan Association of Counties) members to work jointly on election issues.

 

Legislative - Evan Hope, Chair

The MAMC Legislative Committee works on legislative issues relevant to Clerking issues, especially elections.

 

Conference - Jeff Hawkins, Chair - Dan Kasunic, Co-Chair

The Conference Committee plans, organizes and conducts the annual educational conference.

 

Education - Joel Hondorp, Chair - Laura Caterina, Co-Chair

The Education Committee plans, organizes and conducts all educational classes at the annual conference, Clerking 101, Master Academy Classes, the annual education day and other educational opportunities for MAMC members.

Newsletter/Web Site - Nancy Weiss, Chair

The Third Vice President of the MAMC is responsible for maintaining the MAMC web site and publishing the MAMC newsletter.

 

Ways & Means - Sue Hillebrand, Chair

One MAMC Director is appointed Ways & Means Chair and is responsible for updating, maintaining and keeping the MAMC by-laws, rules of order, standing rules and other MAMC issues.

Membership - Chris Swope, Chair

One MAMC Director is appointed Membership Chair and is responsible for sending membership applications and keeping a data base on membership activity.


Past Presidents - Dana Muscott, Chair

The Past President’s Committee is composed of the past presidents of the MAMC.  The Committee is responsible for selecting sites for future conferences, and may be accountable for other tasks as assigned by the President of MAMC.
